Entrepreneurship Support Program - Training of Trainers

 Boston International College (BIC) has successfully conducted a Training of Trainers (TOT) for Entrepreneurship Support Program (ESP) trainers on Apr 14, 2024 between 7:30 AM to 10:30 AM. The program was facilitated by four trainers in a hybrid mode. Dr. Pramod Poudel, the Associate Professor of Biotechnology at Tribhuvan University, and Mr. Nand Kishor Mandal, the Founder Director of Skill Lab, facilitated the session physically at BIC Conference Hall. Similarly, Mr. Narottam Aryal, the President of Kings College, and Mr. Niraj Khanal, the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Antarprerana conducted the training virtually through Google Meet. 


The objective of organizing the TOT program with support from the University Grants Commission (UGC) of Nepal was to inform the trainers on the ESP curriculum and its objectives. The training covered:

  • Orientation/Overview of the ESP Program
  • Importance of Entrepreneurship Support Program (ESP) in HEIs
  • Creating Entrepreneurial Mindset among the students
  • Mentoring Young Entrepreneurs; Differences between Teaching and Mentoring

The program was attended by more than 25 trainees and mentors associated with the Entrepreneurship Support Program (ESP). The ESP training workshop schedule and the ESP curriculum, prepared in consultation with experts from various sectors (triple helix model), were also shared among the trainees and mentors during the event.
